We treat learner information as sensitive. This page explains what we collect and how access is controlled.
Information we collect
Account details (name, phone, email), your region, city and location, learner profiles you add (name, date of birth, school, class level), the tuition requests you submit, lesson and session records, lesson reports written by tutors, payment records and reviews.
How location is used
Location is used to match you with nearby verified tutors for in-home lessons. You may share your device location or select your area manually. Public tutor profiles never expose private residential addresses or exact coordinates — only region, city and approximate distance.
Who can see your information
Parents see only their own records. Tutors see only the learners assigned to them. School leaders see only their own school. Administrators access records for verification, safety and support purposes. Access is enforced at the database level, not only in the app.
Your exact lesson address
Your precise in-home lesson address is released to a tutor only once the lesson assignment is confirmed.
Security
Accounts are protected by authenticated sessions, role-based authorization, row-level database security and audit logging of sensitive administrative actions. Payment card details are never stored by Daring Home Tution.
Your choices
You may update your profile, change or remove saved locations and learner profiles, and request deletion of your account by contacting us.
